生產石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)的原料主要為(wei)含(han)硫酸鈣的天(tian)(tian)然石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)(又(you)稱生石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao))或(huo)含(han)硫酸鈣的化工副(fu)產品和磷石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)、氟石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)、硼石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)等廢渣,其化學式為(wei)CaSO4.1/2H2O,也稱半(ban)水石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)。將(jiang)天(tian)(tian)然二(er)水石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)在不(bu)同的溫度(du)下(xia)煅燒可(ke)得到不(bu)同的石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)品種。如(ru)將(jiang)天(tian)(tian)然二(er)水石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)在107~170℃的干燥條件下(xia)加熱(re)可(ke)得建筑石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)(gao)。
將建筑石(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)加(jia)(jia)水后,它首(shou)先溶解(jie)于水,然后生(sheng)(sheng)成(cheng)(cheng)二(er)水石(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)析出。隨著水化(hua)的不斷(duan)(duan)進行(xing),生(sheng)(sheng)成(cheng)(cheng)的二(er)水石(shi)(shi)膏(gao)(gao)(gao)膠(jiao)體(ti)(ti)微(wei)(wei)粒(li)不斷(duan)(duan)增(zeng)(zeng)多,這(zhe)(zhe)些(xie)微(wei)(wei)粒(li)比(bi)(bi)原先更加(jia)(jia)細小,比(bi)(bi)表面積很大(da),吸(xi)附著很多的水分;同時漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)中的自由水分由于水化(hua)和蒸發而不斷(duan)(duan)減少,漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)的稠度(du)不斷(duan)(duan)增(zeng)(zeng)加(jia)(jia),膠(jiao)體(ti)(ti)微(wei)(wei)粒(li)間(jian)的黏(nian)結逐(zhu)步增(zeng)(zeng)強(qiang),顆(ke)粒(li)間(jian)產生(sheng)(sheng)摩擦力(li)和黏(nian)結力(li),使漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)逐(zhu)漸(jian)失去(qu)可塑性,即漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)逐(zhu)漸(jian)產生(sheng)(sheng)凝結。繼續(xu)水化(hua),膠(jiao)體(ti)(ti)轉變成(cheng)(cheng)晶體(ti)(ti)。晶體(ti)(ti)顆(ke)粒(li)逐(zhu)漸(jian)長(chang)大(da),使漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)完(wan)全(quan)失去(qu)可塑性,產生(sheng)(sheng)強(qiang)度(du),即漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)產生(sheng)(sheng)了硬(ying)化(hua)。這(zhe)(zhe)一(yi)過程(cheng)不斷(duan)(duan)進行(xing),直至漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)完(wan)全(quan)干燥,強(qiang)度(du)不在增(zeng)(zeng)加(jia)(jia),此(ci)時漿(jiang)體(ti)(ti)已硬(ying)化(hua)成(cheng)(cheng)人(ren)造(zao)石(shi)(shi)材(cai)。
